A fishing village that has developed into a tourist hot spot. Wide range of activities, restaurants and shops. A great place to grab a homemade ice cream on a sunny day. 8 km from the house (and also accessible via the beach - driving or on foot).
Fårup Sommerland
A large amusement park which is highly recommended for a fun and action packed day. Great activities for kids and adults of all ages, including the highest and fastest rollercoaster in Denmark. Located 13 km from the house.

An iconic seaside hotel which dates back to 1925. The original buildings were lost in a fire in 2016 but the hotel was rebuilt and reopened in 2019. The hotel is owned by a foundation and run by Louise og Kenneth Toft-Hansen (2019 Bocuse d’Or winner). The restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

Is located just south of Rødhus, and is a national park that stretches across 2,700 hectares along the coast.

In Hune and Pandrup (both approx 10 km from the house) you find a good selection of supermarkets as well as bakery, butcher, seafood, etc.
Subject to season and if weather allows, local fishermen use the beach right in front of the house to launch their boats. Keep an eye out for them and you might be able to buy fresh fish and seafood straight from the boat.
